(Well, except for work, so there’s that).
But today was truly a reminder of how lovely fall can be! I’m thinking that because we’ve had relatively warm weather (even with a lot of rain and wind), the leaves are taking their time with the color change. These are some of the trees in the office courtyard and you can see that they are just barely beginning to turn (and drop—boy, are we ever in for a huge mess in the weeks to come). BUT, most notably, can you see the glimpses of blue sky? There was a whole lot of it today. It was gorgeous.
And then! John sent me this photo last night just before he called. He was BUSY yesterday. This is the guest bathroom and he tiled the wall and wood-wrapped the mirror! (I see a smudge that I’ll likely need the step stool to reach…) Love it! Oh, and that sink! He should be able to hook it up pretty soon.
However, today he took a well-deserved break (what a great day for it) and guess what he and Lee did? Heh.
