JDub's having a well-earned nap now, after finishing the double-lattice deck cover (in sweltering heat). I'm so tickled with it! It's looks really nice -- it has "ambiance". And what a difference it makes. You just have to make sure that one of those "polka dots" doesn't hit you in the eye! It's larger and taller than the original trailer awning, and while it's true that it doesn't solidly block out the sun, it does it well enough to make it very pleasant out there.
Side note: Just had another hummingbird come inside the trailer a little ways and hover for several seconds. JDub didn't bring along his red jacket so I was quite bewildered until I noticed that the hooks by the doorway that hold our jackets are RED. Those hummers are like little miniature bulls, drawn to that color!
Anyway, looks nice, dontcha think? The umbrella will help with the later afternoon sun.
